People have always been my favourite subject, and my interest in relationships and personalities is clearly evident in my work. I particularly like to work with families, with siblings being the most popular.

I prefer to use oil on canvas for my paintings, and work largely from photographs. I have a strong base in drawing and a great eye for detail. I have an intuitive way with colour, making my paintings rich and warm.

I graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, having majored in Printmaking. My work featured in several group exhibitions from 2000-2002.

I worked as a jewellery designer at a manufacturing and retail jewellers in Auckland for 8 years. In that position I consulted with clients to design unique pieces of jewellery.

I've been focusing on painting since 2010, and have been taking commissions since then.

I currently live in Whangarei with my husband and beautiful baby daughter.
